Situated in a remote corner of New Zealand’s North Island where the world’s tallest bird – the moa – once roamed freely in a land of myth and legend, Tahi has its own story to tell. This is a story of forests rejuvenated, wetlands reborn and native wildlife restored.

“He kura tangata, e kora e rokohanga; he kura whenua ka rokahanga.”
“Possessions are temporary things compared to the land.”

Tahi’s goal is to preserve both the ecological and cultural heritage of the land, providing a sanctuary for people and wildlife.

In order to help tell this story, Tahi commissioned award winning designer Jen Cheyne to produce a vision and design for the Tahi Accommodation website and we worked with closely with Jen and her team to realise that vision in code.

It’s the little things

Beautiful full screen video, online booking forms, mobile responsiveness – all these components work together to provide a seamless and compelling user experience.

Controlled growth

With worldwide growth comes the potential for brand inconsistencies. We put in place a digital brand strategy for combating this, designed to homogenise representations of the brands in different markets. We helped them reclaim their Facebook vanity URL merge some of their historical pages and this gave them a robust platform on which to grow.
